My phone worked just fine until an auto update to 17.2 when my camera suddenly stopped working - no zoom no focus no use!!!! I use my camera for work every day and refuse to be tech bullied into buying a new phone!!!!
You need to have your phone inspected by Apple or an Authorized repair facility. If a failure occurred it wouldn’t exactly be you being bullied into getting a new phone. Especially if you have had your device since that model was released a little over 4 years ago. First have it inspected before panicking and seeing what the diagnosis is and your possible repair options.
Also, what troubleshooting steps have you tried? Have you attempted restarting the device to see if that helps?
