Apple music not working on smart TV

Same issue. This occurred after Apple TV app updated in LG tv. Anyone have a fix? Are Apple engineers aware of this issue? Help!

Same here. After getting frustrated with a condescending Apple Senior Advisor, I rang back and got a helpful one.

Apple now note this is an issue, and told to wait on a software update to fix.

i ended up resetting my LG TV back to factory settings and then reinstalled all the streaming apps including iTunes which seems to be working. I hope I don’t have to do this again. The factory reset is such an inconvenience but it did correct the issue.

Kinda the same. Looks like there’s loads of posts with this going on a while, and all smart TVs (well, Samsung too at least) not just LG.

Had it ever worked? I got this TV a couple of months ago. To begin with the app just never loaded any content and was just grey and blank. Then a few weeks back there was a software update and it started showing my library, but although the song pops up (even shows the beginning of the lyrics in some cases), it just spins loading for ages then times out and says content unavailable. Today said there was another app update, but it’s the same.

All the other apps work and stream fine. Just Apple Music. It’s never worked since I’ve had this TV.
