Can't transfer my RIP'd music files from my PC To iPhone using iTunes on Win 11
I make no apology I am an Windows Android Phone LINUX person not iPhone ios and all that Jazz. When I started using music files on my Android phone I used iTunes to purchase music. However I had a rack of CD's in my non-music-file days. So, I RIPd them to MP4 and even to MP3 no problems. I add them to my Apple Music library using iTunes (in former times before Apple Music with subscription and all that jazz). Then for my Android phone I dragged the music file on to my Android phone SDcard and that was it. My Android music player played them. I used to have an Apple Tablet. Then with iTunes I could download them from iTunes from the My Apple Music library to my Apple Tablet. I used to do the same for Docs in say in PDF but then Apple removed docs from iTunes. I have joined an IT group in U3A. They seem to all be Apple iphone afiandos. So, I have purchased a second hand iPhone 8 and now trying to get my RIP MP4a music files onto my phone. I can add them with iTunes on my PC into the My Library. But then using iTunes don't see a way of downloading them to my iPhone. I can create a folder MUSIC under iCloud (and I have paid Apple for cloud support). Then using iCloud I can transfer these files to my iPhone/iCloud folder MUSIC (very slowly even via 100Mbit Ethernet!! It looks to me that I use Apple Music and pay £10.99 per month subscription I may be can do what I want to do. That I can do on android with copy and drop etc .. No problem. I am sorry this is why I don't really like Apple but I am trying to learn it to help Apple users and even grow to love it - maybe. Can any one answer me How I can add my RIP music files in MP4a onto my phone under its Music player and where it stores the music files and when they are shown in My Library under Apple Music on iTunes.
