Right align format not working properly in Numbers.

I have a numbers spreadsheet that I update daily in iCloud. Occasionally I download a copy to my iMac (Mac OS Ventura 13.5.1). When I open the file in Numbers (14.1), the text in some cells does not display properly. Both versions of Numbers, iCloud and Mac, have the same right align formatting, yet the iMac Numbers does not act the same as iCloud version. The text in the iCloud spreadsheet "overflows" the cell to the left, which is what I want. The iMac Numbers right align looks similar to left align. Center align overflows some of the text to the left. First time I've noticed this so I'm not sure exactly when it started.

On the Mac does selecting the cells with the text and unchecking the 'Wrap text in cell' box give you the behavior you want?

Just noticed you're still on Ventura. Numbers is at 14.3. Can you upgrade? That may help with little glitches like this.

I can't reproduce this, so either I'm not understanding the problem correctly, or there's something particular with that cell formatting that's causing a discrepancy.

Can you post screenshots showing the difference?

Screenshot 1 is a capture from the spreadsheet open is my browser from iCloud. Working as I want.

Screenshot 2 is a capture from a new document created from Numbers installed on my iMac. Working as I want.

Screenshot 3 is a capture from the downloaded document saved as Number document to my iMac, then opened in the version of Numbers installed on my iMac. Will not right align properly.

Unfortunately I can't upgrade the OS at this time. I looked at my oldest backup for an older version of numbers and it was my current version 14.1. iCloud version still works properly. Thanks for your help.

The iCloud version is always the latest. The version on the Mac and other devices is not always the latest, as in you case. The version differences can cause problems.
