Extending AppleCare+ on my airpod Max’s

"Extending AppleCare+ on my airpod Max’s: I just got a pair of AirPod Max’s for christmas and I love them, I bought apple care for them online and was wondering when the 2 years are over can I renew my AppleCare for them? And if I can renew my AppleCare for them in a monthly payment after the 2 years are up, will Apple give me a new pair once these ones die and Apple stops making parts for them or will I get a discount?"
