iPad stopped printing to hp printer. It see the printer, but it drops before it can connect to it.
This has never happened before. The iPhone and other devices can print. I have restarted everything. I updated iPad software (18.2). And have reset the iPad (but not to factory spec).

This could be as simple as a WiFi signal problem. WiFi connectivity depends on a lot of variables such as the type and age of WiFi router/gateway that you are using, the model and age of each device using it, and even interference from your neighbors and other devices in your household. I would first suggest to restart your wireless router/gateway. Many router/gateway devices will readjust which frequencies they are using automatically. That may reduce problems if your iPad is specifically using the 2.4 GHz WiFi frequency where frequent interference occurs from neighbors.
