set Siri to always confirm a phone call before it is dial

sometimes, my AirPod misinterprets my words and dials a person in my contacts. This usually happens if I am wearing a scarf or if it's windy outside. Siri does not confirm that I want to call this person and says "calling joe blow...", immediately dialing the number before I have a chance to do anything. Since this happens when I'm using my AirPod, typically my phone is not immediately at hand, meaning the phone call goes through! sometimes in my panic, I shout "no no cancel" and it works, sometimes it does not. Since I have hundreds of contacts in my phone, its always a mystery who Siri decides to call. it hasn't yet been an issue but it's been close!!

When I ask Siri to dial a number (not a name but for example i say "hey siri call 867-5309", Siri always says "just to confirm, you'd like to call 867-5309?"  how do i ensure Siri ALWAYS confirms that i want to make a call? this glitch is going to get me in trouble one day

I‘m not entirely sure if it is possible to get Siri to always confirm a call before the number is dialed, (I guess not), yet you are conscious that it is both possible to end a call by „Hey Siri, hang up“ (if activated in settings, attention: if the other person is connected, they will hear you) or by double-tapping your AirPods. Could be a solution for the issue that you have not got your phone ready to hang up.

this is a workaround, but not a solution. I shouldn't have to be on the alert and jump on my AirPod to prevent a phone call from going through. I have many contacts in my phone that I would only call for emergencies and this could very well cause me a problem in my work situation if it happens with the wrong person. To be on edge whenever I speak with my AirPods in is a terrible way to live. Apple, please resolve this issue!
