I can't sign in or simply use ChatGpt on Apple Intelligence

So I am physically in Mainland now, but my device is 16 Pro, both region and system language(as well as siri language) are set to En(US). I saw other local guys can use it, too. When I tried to sign in chatgpt, with google account or openAI account, I got a error said: "there was a problem signing in to your chatgpt account." When I tried to use chatgpt without an account, it still didn't work. I don't think it's the internet issue, for I didn't have any trouble signing in the ChatGPT APP and websites on both Safari and Chrome, seeming that the way to chatgpt THROUGH apple intelligence is not available.

Do any of you have the same problem or what?

Mainland, as in Mainland China? If that's where you are, Apple Intelligence and ChatGPT extension are not available while you are in China. I have no idea how anyone else in China may be circumventing this, but we cannot help you bypass this. If or when Apple Intelligence is approved for use in China, you'll get whatever extensions will be permitted then. Until then, you can't.

Likely because as of this date, ChatGPT has not been approved for use in China. Apple can't help you with this. It's being controlled by the Chinese Government.

But I can use Apple Intelligence itself like, the painting thing, it's just ChatGPT extension I can't use. I'm confused.

It can't be for I can literally use ChatGPT on both app and websites, maybe it's the network provider, I don't know. I'll just wait for a few days. Thx though!

I'm actually having the same problem and I'm in the US. I can use ChatGPT on the website, but when I try to sign in with my MacBook, I keep getting the "There was a problem signing in" error

Are you using other tools on your MacBook? For example, a VPN.
