I am looking for an easy external DVD player to connect to my 2021 iMac with a M1 chip. Lots of the players I am seeing online have some people complaining that they don't connect well or worse, can't get the DVD out of the player. I would prefer an easy solution such as a plug and play machine. Thank you for any suggestions you may have!

the interface is generic so any drive should work with all macs, windows PC, and linux computers
last external USB driver I used with my mac was some asus blueray burner, sure it required 2 USB port inputs to get power but one of them were an ac USB charger and it worked fine
