Recommendations for Stylus or Apple Pencil to type on touch screen iPad

I have numbness and pain in my finger tips due to medical condition. Is there another way to type on a touch screen iPad for email letters? Requesting recommendations for stylus or e pencil ?

Something I can order on Amazon would be wonderful!
