USB connection for Apple TV

I am planning on moving to a place with no internet access or WiFi. Will apple tv ever allow a usb port for hard drives so I can enjoy my 500 movies and 13 complete tv series (8 tb) that I have bought through the store or do I have to build a windows pc? To achieve this goal. Some of us don’t want to pay for internet anymore (starlink would be only option) and I don’t want to pay for that.

No. The Apple TV is and has always been a streaming device that is required to be connected to the internet. It is not a server. And if you actually bought all that content from the Apple store you will NOT be able to play it on any cobbled together system. That content would need to be verified before it will play and without an internet connection that can’t happen. Sorry but living off the grid has consequences.
