Percentage Error in Numbers

Using Numbers on my Studio Mac M2 I get an incorrect percentage answer in one of my spreadsheets. The problem is: =35,391x0.15, and the answer that Numbers returns is 5,308.65. The correct answer, obviously, is 5,308.50.

Has anyone experienced this problem? It seems to be a flaw in the multiplication function.

Mac Studio, macOS 15.2

Sorry for the trouble. I was working off two sets of numbers and got them crossed. The correct first number in the equation is 35,390, which Numbers correctly returns as 5,308.50.

35091 X 0.15 does equal 5308.65 as returned by Numbers.

Same answer returned by Excel, Calculator app, and my manually calculating it. Why do you think 5308.50 would be the correct answer?
