iPhone 16 Pro can't link to WhatsApp Desktop

I've been getting the "unexpected error" message when I try to link my new iPhone 16 Pro to WhatsApp Desktop. Looks like this problem has been existing since iPhone 15 but never solved. Wonder if Apple plans to fix it or not.

WhatsApp crash in Iphone after connect in WhatsApp "My WhatsApp disconnects after I sync it on another device, like WebWhats. I notice the issue happens during the synchronization. This error occurred on the iPhone 11, iPhone 12, and iPhone 13. Sounds like a whatsapp issue and not Apple.
