I have created a custom contact field in the setting template called Date joined with a date format so that I can manage a club members contact list. I can export all contacts to numbers for subsequent export to excel, but this field doesn't drag across. It was my attempted solution to the notes field not copying across.
Is it possible to include this field somehow?

Interesting - I see that now. Custom date fields are not exported when you drag-and-drop a contact.
It is included when you export to .vcf, so it may be possible to write a script to extract the data (or to have a script read the data directly from Contacts), but that's all I can think of off-hand.
It isn't clear to me where this 'field' is.
Is this a field in Contacts? or a field you added to your Numbers spreadsheet?
Either way, there's no automatic connection between these custom fields. I would expect Contacts to export the data, but having Numbers know what to do with it may take a little more effort.
