Set Print Area in Numbers

I am new to Numbers and am learning how to use it. I've come across an issue that I cannot find a viable answer to using The Google: Set a print area in a Numbers spreadsheet.

So far, I've found two solutions:

  1. Select the area I want to print, File > Print > Set Print Area.
    1. I do not have a Set Print Area option on the File drop down or in Print.
  2. Copy what I want to print, CREATE A NEW spreadsheet, paste that info in the new sheet, and then print.
    1. This is the silliest solution I've ever come across. I can't believe this is the process.

Truly, there has to be a solution to print select rows/columns in a Number spreadsheet. Can anyone help me?

I'm working on a new Mac Mini with Sequoia 15.3.1 / Numbers 14.2.

As strange as it may seem, there is no option to print a subset of a table (e.g. specific rows/columns).

The "Set Print Area" technique sounds more like Excel than Numbers, but the design differences between Excel and Numbers probably account for that (Excel is more 'monolithic' with a single massive sheet, whereas Numbers divides sheets into separate discrete tables.

In Excel, you're more likely to have areas on your sheet that you do/do not want to print, so being able to specify an area makes sense there.

The expectation in Numbers is that you're likely to print an individual table, and that table could be on its own sheet if needs be, but there's no mechanism to only print a subset of rows/columns of a table (other than via Edit -> Copy Snapshot -> Paste, as you've already found).
