Hi, I purchased an M4 (10-core) Mac Mini with 24GB RAM and a 512GB SSD yesterday (13th March), but I didn't realize that upgrading to the 32GB model would cost an extra £200—a worthwhile investment for LLM development. Is there a process where I can pay the additional amount to upgrade to the 32GB model? I'm within walking distance of an Apple Store and can visit in person if needed. Thank you!

+1 on the advice for returning the original computer. If you bought it directly from Apple, you have up to 14 days to return it for any reason.

Did you buy the computer there, or directly from the Apple online store? Only devices bought those two ways qualify for Apple's 14-day return policy.
If you bought from a reseller, even an Apple Authorized Service Provider, that seller's return policy applies.

You have 14 days to return without issue. However for the model you want you would probably have to order.
Do you really think adding 50% more RAM will make the slightest difference to the performance?
