Is there a way to extend battery life on my AirPods Pro 2?

I have mild to moderate hearing loss. Over the last year I;ve tried 5 different hearing aids, and all were simply awful. Although they all made things louder, the sound quality was pathetic. Even with very expensive ones.

I decided to try this AirPod, and WOW - it is GREAT. THe sound quality when using it as a HA is wonderful. BUT - a big issue is that the battery does not even last 6 hours. THat makes it kind of useless as a HA if I want to hear well all day.

Is there a way to extend battery life?

I can't see a way to turn them off so there is no drain at times when I don't need them.

I wonder why the HA manufacturers can't capture the quality Apple has.

They will be on when they are in your ears. When using them for music playback listeners will typically return them to their case where they will recharge between uses. The case should hold enough charge to allow them to be used all day. You could potentially recharge one AirPod at a time if you get sufficient benefit from wearing just one, or get a second pair so you can swap between them.
