iMessage on Mac not syncing automatically to iCloud

For the past few weeks after activity on iMessages on my iPhone 14 iOs 18.5 I am not seeing that activity on my Mac Studio M1 running Sequoia 15.5. In other words they are not automatically syncing. If I manually sync through iCloud the missing messages will show. This is a fairly new issue.

Since it works when you manually sync, it could be a temporary glitch with iCloud.

I’d try signing out of iCloud on your Mac and back in, or turning Messages off and on in iCloud settings on both devices.

Also, make sure both devices are on Wi-Fi, plugged in, and not in Low Power Mode. Low Power Mode can sometimes delay syncing.
