I set up to get paid directly to my Apple cash account. I have two payments that show as refunds but the balance isn’t updating. How long does it take for the balance to update?

Those transactions were cancelled, which is why you see a line through the amount and it showing Refund as the money was returned to the sender.
I recommend contacting GreenDot Bank directly at (877) 233-8552.
I am not sure it is allowed to use the Apple Cash card as a bank account to receive direct deposits from an employer. GreenDot may consider that commercial use and it is not allowed in the Terms of Use. I don't know for sure and it certainly is not up to me to decide, which is why I recommend to contact GreenDot for the correct answer.

It’s against the terms and conditions to use Apple Cash for commercial (business) purposes. You need a bank account or a Cash App account. Business funds (payroll) need to be deposited into an account that has a bank routing number and bank account number. Apple Cash has neither.
Open up a checking account at a bank or Cash App account and give the numbers to your employer.
