Unable to upload folders to my iCloud drive despite having space on iMac

iCloud is NOT allowing me to upload folders to my iCloud drive (Yes, plenty of space). I have a folder with dozens of sub-folders and hundreds of individual files. It seems to be trying to make me INDIVIDUALLY upload each file. This would, of course, make the ICLOUD Drive useless as a storage device.

Any ideas?

If you’re trying to upload using a web browser, folder uploads are not supported. Simply drag the folder into the iCloud Drive location on your Mac to sync instead.
