No one here can fix anything. This is a user to user only forum. If your phone is overheating and lagging, have you checked your Battery Health? Both issues you've described are symptomatic of a battery which may be failing, not necessarily an issue with iOS 26. Open Settings > Battery > Battery Health - if your battery health is close to or below 80%, the battery in your iPhone needs to be replaced, which will solve heating and lagging issues.

Your not alone my husbands phone is doing the exact same and searched for over an hour on how to repair tried many different options and smithing worked…..
My cellular data keeps dropping out. I’ve updated to IOS 26.0.1 that was meant to fix the issue but it’s not fixing it.

have you checked your front camera? mine cannot click selfies anymore. I have the same issue in iphone 15.

I forgot to add that the clock doesn't appear on the lock screen time to time and screen shots don't pop up they just disappear and get saved in your photos.
It's been weeks and the phone still gets hot and battery does quickly.
