Post ios26 upgrade, my carplay is not working on Pioneer AVH-x8750BT via wired connection

hi all

Post my iphone 14 ios26 upgrade, I noticed that my carplay (via wired connection) to the Pioneer AVH-x8750BT is not working.

What I have tried

under General -> carplay -> forget this car
Then the phone can connect to the CarPlay (one time)
If I unplug the cable and replug it in again, there is no response and CarPlay is not shown on the AVH-x8750BT

Note: the same issue has happened to my another phone iPhone 15 pro with ios 26 upgrade as well

hi all, just to share that i had just updated to iOS26.1

and the problem is seems like already been resolved in the new os

Provided that Pioneer continues to provide firmware updates for that AVH-x8750BT, have you kept the firmware updates current? I would not do a concurrent wired and Bluetooth connection to the Pioneer unit with CarPlay, if that is even possible.

Power off your phone. Power it on again with Bluetooth on and retry a wireless CarPlay connection to the Pioneer.

hi, this AVH-x8750BT is only supporting the carplay via wired connection (USB-A), my firmware is current and used to be working without single issue at all.

by far i have tried numerous ways, and i wonder if this is a genuine ios26 general issue as i saw in the apple community posts that number of people are experiencing the issue as well
