The reactions in circles don't work when I show a like or other hand gestures. This doesn't work in Telegram or WhatsApp circles, and it doesn't work after I updated to iOS 26.

I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to with reactions in circles, but Telegram and WhatsApp are not Apple products. How their apps work is something you would need to discuss with their Support or App developers.

That is why it is always good to read everyone's reply, since we can all have different views of things. A slight bias based on our experiences and knowledge. Just like when you taught me about just bringing the phones in proximity of each other to share those photos in DC. Always learning something.
Ah yes, indeed and I remember that! And now that I think of it, it could also be message tapbacks but for those third party apps. In that case your feedback would be the right way to go. And a great meetup that was.
