Pressing on trackpad makes hollow noise

I recently purchased a 15" MacBook Air and have the trackpad set to “Tap to click.” However, for certain functions, I still need to physically press the trackpad. What bothers me is the hollow clicking sound it makes when I do. I’ve set the click setting to “Light,” which helped a bit, but the hollow sound is still noticeable. Do you have any suggestions for reducing or eliminating it?
