The alphabet in Contacts app OS 26 is missing. How do I re-enable the alphabet in Contacts app?

toggle one of the other list to get past the glitch If it is stuck...then come back to All Contacts

no resolve — quit the app and relaunch it.

The current stable release of Tahoe including bug fixes, security updates is macOS 26.0.1

Thanks, but not what I'm looking for. I do have the alphabet letter at the top left of each section, but no vertical list of the entire alphabet so I can quickly click any letter and go to all the names starting with it. Maybe it's never been featured on the Mac version of Contacts and it's only been on the iPad and iPhone versions??

Was this ever on Mac OS?
