Reminders shows multiple "Work" locations

I'm trying to use location-based reminders and have a number of problems.

One is: I have many "Work" locations, some with the same address, others with a very similar one.

(I work at a college, and there's the overall address for the entire college, and the building I work in has a different address with multiple street numbers -- 166 and 168 both refer to my building.)

Where do those locations come from? How can I edit them? They seem unconnected to the Work location I see in Maps, which isn't what I expected.

And once I remove the duplicate locations, can I specify a new one using a pin drop, and can I tighten the radius my iPhone uses for that location?

I did figure out on my own that the locations come from your contacts -- in particular, your Contact Card. I had several accounts linked to that, and each were pulling in another "Work" location. I unlinked the acounts and set one work address. Now I only see that one...but I get the reminders when I arrive home, because I live very close to work. I need to reduce the radius or otherwise refine the location, but there seems to be no way to do that.
