This is the line - it changes colour sometimes to orange or grey but is always sheer and only visible on a white background. I have taken a screenshot (I can’t use an external monitor) and it doesn’t appear on the screenshot. I am on the latest IOS software. It appeared about a week ago and for the past week it’s tended to go once I restart my Mac and only appeared like a day after I restarted it and I just repeated the process. However, in the last 2 days it’s not going off when I try a reboot. I’m very busy with college and it would be very out of the way to go to an apple shop so I thought I’d come on here first! It’s a MacBook Air 2020 M2 I believe. It still works on the line but it’s just v annoying so if anyone knows a solution please let me know
If the issue does not appear in a screenshot, then you have confirmed that the laptop has a hardware issue with the Display Assembly which will require a repair.
