Tahoe 26.0.1: Apple Script in Music App very slow

I use a Mac Studio (M1 Max) with 64GB Memory, since updating to Tahoe 26.0.1, Apple Script almost has become unusable with the Music App. I use it to tweak tags and often select a large number of tracks. What took a few seconds in the past now takes several minutes. What is the problem?

Yes, I had written a script to measure how many operations per second you can do with Apple Music. In practice, I was raising and decreasing the volume by 1%. The slowdown was massive. I don't recall exactly the number anymore, but something about a factor 20 times slower. So if you express this in percent, it is about 2000% slower than its predecessor. It is a pity. I fear all AppleScript scripts I had are now running extremely slowly. I hope Apple finds a fix. It would be a shame to drop support for AppleScript. One of the pearls of macOS, where it is superior to any other OS.
