On my iPad Air (M2) running iPadOS 26.1 when I open the weather map on the Apple Weather app pink squares come up and the app starts to glitch and make lines I don’t know if it’s only me. Hope Apple could see this and fix it.

I'm unable to replicate your issue.
Try deleting the Weather App from your iPad - and then perform a forced restart before reinstalling the App from the App Store.
