What power mode does Mac mini enter after display turns off based on Lock Screen settings?

Using Mac OS Tahoe 26 on a Mac mini, in reference to Settings>Lock Screen>Turn display off when inactive>For n minutes, when display is turned off after user selected time, Is the hardware in Sleep Mode, Low-Power Mode, or some other mode? Please forgive my run-on sentence.

I'm pursuing this issue for knowledge.

That is a noble cause and no one here is trying to discount that.

I waited for Tahoe 26 in hopes that it would remedy the issue, it didn't.

Problem with that is, remedies and changes do not always come with incremental updates or major upgrades.

Then to make matters worse, some remedies and changes never come and some come when you least expect them.

I'm a casual user less than 1 hour/day. I do have an APC BE850G2 that is also powered on 24/7. All my Energy settings have always been turned off. Currently my Lock Screen>Turn display when inactive is set to "For 10 minutes (Mac mini does not wake up unexpectedly)".

Apple sent me Capture.app to run and detect the actual event the causes Mac to wake up unexpectedly. I ran this app multiple times with Lock Screen>Turn display when inactive>For 1 hour, For 30 minutes, and For 20 minutes (I did not run Capture.app settings 3 minutes, 5 minutes, and 10 minutes).

Curiously when running the Capture.app, the Mac stays asleep for more than 3 hours (I intentionally terminated the test a 3 hour and 5 minutes each time.

I have no idea why the Capture.app prevents the Mac from waking unexpectedly when Lock Screen>Turn display when inactive is set to "For 1 hour, For 30 minutes, or For 20 minutes".

I am speculating that there is some coding anomaly in the Lock Screen>Turn display when inactive for the timer settings. What say you?

Having done what you have done with " the 14 Apple advisors ( 7 were Senior advisors) "

And uploading the Capture Logs to them

No doubt, they are looking into the possibilities of a " coding anomaly "

If they have, as of yet, informed you of the outcome

It is possible

1 - they maybe working on a fix that maybe included next update to Tahoe

2 - they do not see this as Bug

In whatever scenario- you have done you part and not much can be done at this time

Thank you for the addition information and for sharing what the Apple Software Engineers suggested .

To be frank about this issue

I do not know what the Software Engineers have come to know via the Capture Logs.

They would have a much more in-depth knowledge of what is what and how it is supposed to work

Best I can offer at this time

Wait for the point update to Thaoe and ten push the Panic Button of still not fixed

Again , pleased to hear back from you and the very best the T'giving weekend ( USA ) ?

Per Apple Software engineers, my Mac mini is waking unexpectedly from Sleep mode due to my Apple Studio Display and suggested that I try different settings in Settings>Lock Screen>Turn display off when inactive>for nn minutes/hours (I had done this before the Apple Senior Advisor contacted me with this information).

They said that Apple desktops are designed for users that use multiple monitors, each monitor having a different setting. I'm using a single monitor and it will sleep all day/night with a setting of For 10 minutes or less.
