How to fix broken sync between Google Keep and Apple Notes on a new MacBook Air?

Got my first very own MacBook Air yesterday (16", M4) and set up everything, upgraded to Tahoe, all good.

So it's a fresh setup, almost everything works fine.

Now the only real issue is the broken sync from Google Keep (personal, not workspace) to Apple Notes.

I see the Google account and all other things like Contacts, Calendar and Mail work fine, but Notes do not sync at all, I see 0 notes in Apple Notes.

I checked all the settings, sync is turned on for Notes, no filter, fresh setup. I think Sequoia had the same issue.

Any ideas what to try?
