Do Find My People locations transfer to a new iPhone

I'm switching from my iPhone 14 to my iPhone 17, keeping them both signed into the same Apple ID. Will the "Find My" app for the "People" section allow me to see my friends' real-time locations on both devices (iPhone 14 and 17), or will they have to share again for my iPhone 17?

I can see the location of my wife's phone on all my devices even though I only choose one iphone to define MY official location.

No, I can only see him on my old device and not on the new one.

Him can see my new one correct.
