LaunchPad ― has been replaced by the new Apps.app going forward.

There are some known issues here yes.

you can submit your Apple Feedback here: Product Feedback - Apple

there are several alternative replacements for the old LaunchPad already listed above...

out of all of those choices see—

AppGrid Launcher https://apps.apple.com/us/app/appgrid-launcher/id6748853585?mt=12

( the report is it looks great + Terminal command to bring back your exact LaunchPad configuration)

report back your resolve.

That is correct. It's gone.

Shamelessly stolen from one of my esteemed colleagues:

You get one of the free LaunchPad 3rd party replacement apps, and now you are no longer dependent on Apple.

As for me, that is what Command-Shift-A is for. You can arrange the icons in the Applications folder anyway you like, if you set the folder to Finder -> View -> Sort by -> None

There are lots of way to organize apps.

But the easiest for what you are used to, would be to get a 3rd party app to replace LaunchPad. It is rather painless, and takes less time than posting in these forums.

**Launchie** (App Store)

LaunchMe (App Store)

**AppGrid Launcher** (App Store)

AppHub (paid app)

(I'm sorry, I don't remember if it was BobHarris or Bob Timmons.)

LaunchMe is the best from the list. Its even better than Launchpad was.
Finally I can customize it with wallpaper, custom app icons and widgets

Thanks for reporting your experience. It may be helpful to people trying to decide.

I never used LaunchPad and didn't even realize it was missing until people started talking about it in the forums so I'm definitley not the person to be testing any of the replacements.

Yeah, me neither. Beyond finding an App that was not on my dock I never did anything with launchpad.

The new Apps app works fine for me. But it's nice to have alternatives for those that want them.
