2015 MacBook Pro won't start after factory reset, charger remains amber

I have to agree with that (sadly). The failure appears to be catastrophic, or maybe just the power-related circuitry internal to the laptop, which prevents the computer from even showing any sign of life. But that power-related circuitry and related parts on a 2015 laptop are not commercially available anymore, and any parts found will be used and worn and likely problematic for their own reasons.

I don't have a solution, just an observation.

The Green/Amber LED indicators are only set by commands from the computer.

So at some point, your computer was alive enough, at least once, to issue the command for the Amber LED to light up.
