Refund for accidental yearly Coconote app subscription

i need help with a refund of 179.99 for an app that i didnt want to subscribe to for a year.

I’m a college student and really need my money to get me through the semester.

when I had clicked on the app I thought it was a monthly charge, and it was a yearly charge and with out a “are you sure” notification to double check what you’re clicking it charged me 179.99$ right away. I contacted the app founder of Coconote, and they are willing to help refund me and have done what they can on their end but they said Apple doesn’t allow them to do one on one refunds so Apple will need to refund me. Please help me 179.99$ is alot of money for a yearly subscription that I didn’t want!! I’ve been trying to get this figured out for a week or more.

I have also went to the Apple report a problem and once it asks me to search for an amount for a refund it doesn’t show up and let me move to the next step but it shows on my history that it’s there so it won’t let me do that.

Make sure the subscription is canceled, then ask for a refund using the link below.

Notes:

• "If you signed up [which involves very intentional steps by you or a user of your device, accompanied by warnings along the way] for a free or discounted trial subscription and you don't want to renew it, cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial ends." Note that by using an app like this you are automatically agreeing (always read the fine print) to this happening, are responsible for reading if this will happen, and canceling the subscription before the trial ends.

• Deleting an app does not cancel a subscription.

• An existing subscription will normally continue until the end of its term and may then renew automatically. Stopping automatic renewal is effectively canceling it. "If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, then the subscription is already canceled and won't renew." The "Expires" date means the current subscription will just run until then. • Canceling a subscription does not automatically start a refund.

• If you had a free trial previously, you do not get a second one and a subscription will start immediately.
