Can I remove this annoying mouse hint when setting the Cycle range?

Just like Sirius Cybernetics, Apple has developed a habit of giving me unwanted help. When I am setting the cycle range, it pops up this annoying mouse hint to tell me stuff I don't want or need and have duplicated in my main display. I often set my cycle based on the markers that the danged hint covers up! Can I get rid of it?

FYI, I am not looking for a workaround. I have one. I'm looking for a solution. Thanks!
