Text and formula in the same cell with formatted output

I would like to format the results of this formula with 2 decimal places:

="example "&sum(A1:A10)

where cells A1:A10 have numbers with 10 decimal places.

I am unable to limit the decimal places with Format/Cell/Data Format. The results is still

example 12.345678901

Even if I use Format/Cell/Data Format to limit cells A1:A10 to 2 decimal places. The above formula still gives multiple decimal for the answer.

Correction:

The formula noted should be

="example "&ROUND(SUM(A1:A10),2)

like shown in the screenshot.

Setting format of A1:A10 does not change the values there.

So, try ROUND function like below

="example "&sum((A1:A10),2)

# use ";" instead of "," if your language setting uses "," as decimal point.
