A$69 USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter (Australia), finger ID

https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MUF82AM/A/usb-c-digital-av-multiport-adapter

Can this A$69 Adapter be used with both ipad mini and ipad pro? Can it be used to connect USB flash drive to read PDF files? I intend to buy both ipad mini and ipad pro, mainly use them to read PDF files for study.

I definitely need both ipads with finger ID, not face ID.

Thank you for your help.

Nope.

The iPad Mini does not have USB-C, it has Lightning. You need the lightning version for the iPad Mini.

Older iPad Pros use lightning, so you have to be specific which iPad Pro you are talking about:

iPad Pro 1st and 2nd generation use Lightning.

iPad Pro 3rd and 4th generation use USB-C.
