Forgot the password I used for the parental controls on my daughters phone

My daughter got a new phone today. She transferred everything from her old phone to her new phone.

I'm guessing she transferred the password that I can't remember also.

If I remove everything from her old phone, can I somehow reset the password and then use it on her new phone??

This is crazy, we've been fighting with this issue for so long and nothing works. Its been so long with this forgotten password and she's way to old now to even have any parental controls on her phone.

Any ideas would be really helpful.

If you can't remember a restrictions passcode that you set on a previous version of iOS, or you forgot your Screen Time passcode, you need to erase your device, then set it up as a new device to remove the passcode. Restoring your device from a backup won't remove your passcode as you have already found out.
