MacBook Pro
This is going to depend on the computer that you have. If it is an Intel-based Mac that previously used macOS Sierra 10.12.4 or later, you can use Shift-Option-Command-R at startup to install the macOS that came with your Mac, or the closest version still available.
If this is an Apple Silicon (M1) Mac, then press and hold the power button when the computer turns on and you'll get into the recovery center of the MacBook Pro and should be able to get it to install the OS again and get it working.
