I am not the first owner of the apple ipad. it was donated and that is where i got it. is there any way to get into it without the original id and password.
If you are referring to the registered Apple ID and password because of an Activation Lock, then no. Absolutely none. If you know who the donor is, check with them to see if they know it. If you can't get it, it will need to be turned in for recycling.

Without the help of the original owner or the person who set up the iPad, you will not be able to restore it to use as your own device. If you can’t get in touch with them, recycle the iPad responsibly.
