Hi,
I'm trying to set up the contact widget on my iPhone and it doesn’t work I can’t edit it or chose a contact.
when I press it to go to contacts it shows a black window.
has anybody experienced this issue?

I am also having the same problem. The contacts are not populating on creation. Have deleted and tried again a number of times with no joy. Any help would be appreciated. PS I do have friends but they are just not showing up 😊

It sounds like you're having an issue with a widget on your iPhone. We can understand wanting to get that resolved. We want to help.
We'd recommend removing and re-adding the widget to see if that resolves the issue: Use widgets on your iPhone and iPod touch

I am also facing the same issue. When I long press on widget and click on ‘edit widget’ nothing happens. I tried it several times even after removing and the issue remains same.
Please resolve/help with a workaround.
I had the same issue, and the simple fact to switch off and on my phone resolved my issue. Maybe worth a try :)

Yes I’m having the same problem no matter what I do it shows no contacts. When I go to edit button nothing happnes. Have tried taking widget of and reinstalling several times
Same issue for me. Cannot change any of the contacts on the contact widget. Press and hold at selects edit widget and nothing happens.
This worked for me too! Now I quickly get a lot of useful information from loved ones. Everyone should try this! Thank you!

Mine are also not working have you had any other response besides restarting your phone? That didn’t work for me or a reset.
Got the same problem. Removing widget + powering down/up does not solve it.
widget is still not working and Apple knows seems it’s with iphone 13’s
