I received two texts with “my apple ID code”, but I didn’t make the request. What does this mean? What do I do?

Someone may be trying to sign your Apple ID, which would generate the request for a verification code. Since you have 2 Factor Authentication enabled, as long as they can't access one of your trusted devices, they can't get a code, and sign in. You should be okay.

How would they be able to access one of my devices, would they need to posses the device or not?
I have all my devices in my possession. They couldn't "hi-jack" any of them?
I fell for a bogus ad on Snapchat this evening, and have cancelled the credit card used. Perhaps I'm just paranoid now.
They would need to posses the device. It is very unlikely they could hijack a device since you have all of the devices in your possession.
Thank you!
You are welcome.
