Unable to manage subscriptions in iPad2 with iOS 9—the popup window is blank. Help?

I purchased some magazines through Zinio on my iPad 2 and I'm unable to manage those subscriptions on it. To enter that area of my account on this device's software (iOS 9.45, I believe), touch-clicking the "Itunes & App Store," then my "Apple ID," then "View Apple ID," then scrolling down to "Subscription" and all that pops up is a blank window and it stays blank. I've shut down and restarted my iPad. I've signed out and back to my Apple ID on my desktop as well as the iPad, but no change. Help? Thanks.

If these subscriptions are truly managed under Apple, then the issue may well be obsolete operating system software. The iPad 2, released by Apple in 2011, cannot use an iOS version greater than 9.3.6 (for cellular iPads), which was current more than three years ago, or iOS 9.3.5 for wi-fi iPads, which is about six years old.

I understand it's an older device. This issue seems to be occurring with many recent devices as well and it's gone on for years. Part of my problem now is that this iOS is still on iTunes as opposed to "Music," so the workaround I've found elsewhere doesn't apply. This device does everything else fine—I can read magazines I've purchased, etc.
