When COX Two Factor authentication is enabled, sign in with TV Provider does not work
After I enabled Two Factor authentication on my COX Cable account, access to shows in Apple TV stopped working. When I want to access them, I am prompted to sign in again with my TV Provider. After entering my account and password, a message comes back, "Sign In Error. We are experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later." This (very annoyingly) loops back to the password entry with no way to exit other than exiting the app. I have verified that this is caused by enabling Two Factor authentication on my COX account because when I disable 2FA I am able to login immediately afterward. Also if I reenable 2FA on my COX account, my TV Provider access is again revoked and I am again prompted to reenter my account and password. This happens for any source that requires my TV Provider.
I have found multiple other apple discussion posts on this, multiple posts on COX support sites, multiple posts on other 3rd party sites. These go back a full year to when COX started use of 2FA.
