I'm working on Monterey on a MacBook Pro 2018 on a German keyboard.
I want to switch between open windows of the same app by keyboard shortcut. It says everywhere that cmd ` will switch focus to the next open window within an app. But I can't get it to work. Neither will cmd ^ or cmd <. I've tr
"Move focus to next window" is checked in the Keyboard settings.
Can anyone help?

Thanks! That's definitely a workaround. But as I'm usually on an external screen and keyboard, I'd still be happy to have a keyboard shortcut if anyone can help.
