Apple Card Not working at NFC terminals

When I go to pay for items at retailers using the NFC terminal. I have used payed using NFC in the past. Recently when I try to buy items the terminal shows a message “Payment not allowed. Scan Card.”

Contact Apple Support and ask them to perform remote diagnostics and pay particular attention to the NFC module. If a nearby Apple Retail Store is more convenient, you can make an appointment at the Genius Bar. This happens at multiple terminals. The vending machine at work, the grocery store and the gas station. Anywhere Apple Pay is accepted.

I’ve reloaded my card to my iPhone 14 Pro and tried again and no dice.

I double click the side button and tap my iPhone on the terminal . When I hear the tone it tells me to scan my card like above. It does not work any where as of now. Before it worked at every place I tried.

No, it is not working at any terminals. Only on line at this time. Ive tried to reload my card and that did not work. I texted with Apple Support and they told me it was because my card was locked and I had to unlock it. I unlocked it and it still presists
