Fate of purchased music after canceling Apple Music subscription

Greetings,

Prior to my subscription to Apple Music, I had 60 or so albums and many songs that I had purchased digitally, or ripped from CD that I had in my iTunes library, and moved to Apple Music. I assume that those albums and songs were "matched" in Apple Music with music from Apple's digital archives. My question is, if I cancel my subscription to Apple Music, what happens to the music that I had in my collection prior to the subscription, and that I originally had in iTunes on my MacBook and migrated to Apple Music?

Any music that you individually purchased will stay in Apple Music. Any music that you simply tagged as part of your Music plan, but did not purchase separately will be gone. I had dozens of purchased albums before doing the subscription service for a year. when I quit the subscription all of those previous albums stayed... as well as the few albums and songs I purchased while having the subscription.
