Will iCloud for Windows ever work with Office 365 64 Bit?

After lots of reading various forums and trying just about everything under the sun, its clear to me that iCloud for Windows does not function with Outlook in Office 365 64 Bit. I just read a thread here from 2018 that complains about the same problems I've been having: no sync, iCloud won't accept Outlook generated vCards, etc.

Also from the research, Microsoft and Apple seem to be pointing fingers at each other as the party needing to do work to make the apps work together. As the situation may have existed for at least 7 YEARS, I gather its safe to assume iCloud for Windows will never work with Office 365 64 Bit.

The only offered solution was to dump Office 365 64 Bit and reinstall the 32 Bit version. That is not an acceptable "solution."
