i went onto setting to check my storage and i noticed that below my id, i saw a block that said “your data is ready to be moved to your new iPhone. This icloud will be deleted in 24 days” but i do not have a new iphone.

If you do not have a new device then do not worry. That was a temporary backup that was created and your actual data will never get deleted on its own.
Did you create a temporary backup of your current iPhone or iPad · Go to Settings > General. · Scroll down and tap Transfer or Reset [Device].
